TESTIMONIALS
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working on many a recording session with Steve Hall. The ability to come up
with original ideas and enhance not only his own original works, but those of many an artist, has gained him a great respect
within the musical world-as a musician, composer and lyricist.
Brian Howarth. Recording Engineer.
Finding music that children love singing is a constant challenge in school. The recorded version of our year 6 children
singing ’God is here for all of us’ is testimony enough to the pleasure they got from singing it. We will definitely
be using Primary Music’s material in the future.

Steve’s move into the Primary Music business is long overdue. One of the most talented
musicians I have ever met, he manages to combine a clear understanding of what motivates children to enjoy learning, playing
and singing music, with a natural ability to create memorable melodies and thoughtful lyrics.

Keyboard players such as Steve Hall are a rare breed. He is an excellent sight reader and also has
the ability to embellish any piece of music if and when required to do so.
As a lover of jazz music he can tastefully improvise solos over the most difficult chord progressions.
He manages to make one pair of hands (and a foot) sound like a complete orchestra.
As a professional vocalist I would recommend him to anyone who needs a musician.
Paul Rafferty. Singer/songwriter and musician.
Steve Hall has been teaching us both keyboard and piano for the past 4 years. We started in 2003
at a ’certain age’ with reservations as to our likely achievements. These have proved groundless thanks to
Steve’s excellent tuition, enthusiasm and encouragement. His classes are interesting, fun and he encourages musical
interaction. He is an innovative and accomplished musician who never fails to impress.

As a fellow teacher working alongside Steve Hall, running a Yamaha Music School was always a
pleasurable experience. In addition to his ability to communicate with students of all ages and backgrounds, he is also a well
organised enthusiastic individual-which results in fabulous progress of musicianship from countless pupils. In short, Steve’s
lessons are both informative and fun (just like his music) these qualities are the perfect combination to maintaining a
harmonious learning environment in the classroom, and Steve’s own compositions are brimming with the same strengths as his
teaching.
