Recently, I purchased and downloaded your song ‘Sleep’ from your website. The track is great, but I wanted to print out the sheet music-along with the separate page of lyrics. Once I had done this, I couldn’t manage to open the files with any of the software on my computer-what do I need to do?-Bob, Sheffield.

The printable files you have downloaded are in pdf format, and require adobe^®software to function. This is available free on the World Wide Web. You can either click the link on our primarymusic.org.uk links page, or go direct to adobe.com - where you simply click on ‘get adobe reader’ and follow the download instructions.

Dear Primary Music.
After downloading several of your compositions, I thought it would be nice to burn the tracks onto a CD. After doing this, I found that the songs would only play on certain CD players. Can you help?- Miss Gosling, Cheshire.

Dear Miss Gosling,
To enable our material to be downloaded over the Internet, Primary Music sound files are sent in the MP3 format. Some CD players (especially older machines) are only capable of playing CD’s in the bigger WAV format, and wont play MP3’s. However, media players such as Windows Media Player or iTunes (as used by ourselves) will easily convert MP3’s to WAV format for use on CD players.
