Q. How do I access the music files and choose my songs to download.
A. Simply browse to the catalogue section of the site here and select the songs to preview by reading the
descriptive notes for each. Here we describe the song, the style and the subject matter. You can play a sample of the music
by clicking the ’listen now’ button at the end of the description.
Q. Do I need special software to listen to the sample.
A. No most internet browsers will support streaming audio and as long as your PC or Mac has a sound card and the volume
enabled you will hear an audio CD quality sample of the song of your choice.
Q. How do I buy the songs I like?
A. PrimaryMusic.org.uk uses the secure PayPal payment gateway as a method of collecting payment for your songs.
By clicking add to basket for each of the songs you want. Your order is transferred to a secure area until you are ready to
complete the transaction.
Q. Is my Payment secure?
A. Primarymusic.org.uk currently uses the Paypal system for collecting secure payments online. For more information
about security and privacy using the Paypal gateway please visit www.paypal.com
Q. Do I have to pay by credit / debit card?
A. At this time payment is required by credit or debit card to complete the transaction online. However, payment is
accepted by cheque via post using the alternative payment form available in the
Contact Us section. Download of your chosen
songs is only available once funds are cleared and your unique and secure access to download your purchase will be sent to
you via email once payment is received.
Q. What do I get when I download my purchase?
A. Each song package contains 4 separate files. These are as follows.
- MP3 recording complete with vocals.
- MP3 recording minus vocals.
- PDF of Sheet music (single stave with chord symbols).
- PDF of lyrics.
Q. Do I need special software to play/read my downloads?
A. All Primarymusic.org.uk files have been formatted using standard PC and Mac protocols. Audio is presented in the
worldwide standard of MP3 and text and graphics are presented as secure PDFs which are viewable and printable using the
free Adobe Acrobat Reader software present on most modern systems. You can download it FREE at
www.adobe.com if you do not currently have it your
machine. PDF documents are locked so that no further editing of the material is allowed.
Q. Is there a minimum order amount?
A. No you can choose as many or as few titles as you need, ’cherry-picking’ individual tracks to meet
your specific requirements.
Q. Can I duplicate and distribute the music once I have purchased it.
A. The terms and conditions of sale and the licensing information is available to view
here. Music and lyrics can be
copied and reproduced for distribution to pupils and teachers within the original purchasing school. All copyright information
should remain present on all reproduced materiel. If purchases are made at LEA (Local Education Authority) level then a
separate license is required for each school.

Q. How quickly will I receive my goods.
A. Almost immediately. As all primarymusic.org.uk’s products are electronic files, as soon as payment is
received, you will be provided with secure access rights to download your purchase to your computer.
Q. Is there a minimum amount of material per order?
A. No! Only the desired tracks need be selected and you may purchase as many or as few as you need.
Q. Is VAT or similar charged.
A. No. Not at this time.
Q. Who can purchase PrimaryMusic.org.uk products?
A. Anyone who wishes to do so.
Q. Are chord symbols provided on arrangements?
A. Yes. The scores are single stave, with both lyrics and chord symbols added for keyboard instruments or guitars.
